Look out for witches, ghosts, Barbies, and superheroes-the Tryon Halloween Stroll will be held on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31. Families are invited to enjoy trick-or-treating along Trade Street from 4-6 p.m., as downtown businesses and local organizations will be set to hand out candy and treats.

The costume contest will take place at 6 p.m. at the clock tower. There are three age groups for the contest ranging from infants to 12 years, and there will be prizes given in three categories for each age group – funniest, most original, and scariest costume.
